At Ujala Foundation, we deeply value every single contribution made by donors to support our charitable mission. While donations are typically considered final, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. Hence, we have adopted a fair and transparent Return & Refund Policy to ensure donor satisfaction and trust.


🕒 Cancellation & Refund Timelines

If you wish to cancel or amend your donation for any valid reason, you may request a refund. We will evaluate all refund-related communication on a case-by-case basis, and aim to respond within 7 working days from the date of receiving your request.


⚠️ Important Guidelines

  • Proof of the deducted amount (such as transaction receipt or bank statement) is mandatory.
  • written refund request must be submitted within 2 days of making the donation.
  • The refund timeline depends on the type of payment method or card used.
  • Refunds will be processed only after verifying and validating the issue from our end.

❌ No Refund If Tax Certificate (10BD) Issued

If the 10BD tax exemption certificate has already been generated and sent to the donor, refund requests will not be entertained.

In other cases, refunds will be processed after deducting applicable payment gateway charges.
